Our daughter has been attending Elevation Academy for two years. Elevation Academy has had a delightful impact on our daughter. Before attending this school, our daughter was homeschooled for four years. As parents, we did our best we could, teaching her all subjects, and for the most part, my wife and I were satisfied with her learning. Yet, keeping her at home had their advantages, with COVID going around and all the negative challenges public schooling brought, and all the horror stories we heard through social media and news, we decided to keep homeschooling her. One day, our daughter sadly asked us if she could go back to public school. She was twelve at the time. Her request was so genuine that it hit our hearts hard. Our daughter was not a little girl anymore. We felt it was unfair to keep her home; she needed to get out and make friends and socialize to prepare her for different challenges in her life. As a parent, I was not thrilled in sending her to a public school, but it was necessary. My wife mentioned Elevation Academy, a Christian-based school. We talked about it, and she convinced me to register her in the fall.

Let me tell you something. Our baby girl has completely turned around from being a shy and having low self-esteem to being this competent, intelligent, and talented young lady. Elevation Academy has brought out the best in our daughter. She has come out of her shell. She has lots of friends and was school vice president in her first year of attending. She has found talent within herself in singing, acting, and learning to play musical instruments. Thanks to the music class and teacher, which she adores, she is excelling in all subjects. As parents, we are blessed and grateful for what Elevation Academy has done for our daughter. Elevation Academy is not only a school to us; it's a place where students can focus on their education and achieve their goals to their full potential. Elevation Academy is also a place where students feel safe and care for one another. The faculty at Elevation Academy are passionate, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Elevation Academy is one of the best decisions we have made for our daughter.

This is our third year at Elevation Academy and it’s been great. The staff really care about the students and the smaller class sizes mean more individualized time and a sense of family throughout the school. My kids came from homeschooling and were able to transition well. I’m thankful to have this option available in Prince Albert.
